Setup TPLINK Wireless Router on Dhiraagu ADSL connection!

Trying to set up your new TP-LINK modem for Dhiraagu ADSL? It takes really simple 7 steps and about 10 mins for this.

Here, it is used TP-LINK Wireless and USB ADSL2+Modem Router. Model : TD-W8968. Though, i think all TP-LINK modems will work on these settings for Dhiraagu ADSL.

1- Once, your modem is connected to your ADSL line and PC, open your internet browser and go to modem setting using the address, normally it will be like http://192.168.1.1. Typing this address on your internet browser will bring up your modem's setting. You may need to log-in to go this setting. The default log-in for the setting on almost all the modems will be:

User name: Admin
Password: admin

2- Once you can get to the setting, go to "Quick setup". and choose "ADSL Modem Router Mode" as on below image:

3- Then go to "Next". and then enter VPI/VCI as for VPI 8 and VCI 35 as on below image:

4- Now set ADSL connection type as PPPoE. See image below.

5- Now set your ADSL user name and password on next page as image below:

6- Now setup your wireless setting. Set your desired name as wireless name and password. As shown in below image: When setting up wireless, make sure you setup country as +5GMT region, i.e: India, will be fine. ( Note: you cannot find Maldives in country list )

7- Now check if you have setup as below image:

If everything is ok, just "save" your setting and modem will reboot. After reboot, you should be perfectly connected to Dhiraagu ADSL connect with wifi.
